Aurelio Mucci began his artistic formation at L’Istituto Statale D’Arte in the city of L’Aquila Italy. He attended classes in metalwork in the goldsmithing department from 1980 to 1983.

He then continued his studies at L’Istituto D’Arte in Valenza Po where he specialized in stone setting in their jewelry department, finishing his studies in 1986. Following his formal training, Mr. Mucci worked in the jewelry industry in various Italian cities learning the techniques of artistic arstisanal work in creating unique objects of jewelry.

From 1996 to 2005 Mr. Mucci resided in Florence, Italy. There, he worked as an independent contractor setting diamonds. He specialized in the techniques of pave and micro pave and collaborated with businesses creating high fashion jewelry that was exported worldwide.

In 2006 he moved to San Francisco, California and opened a studio doing private commissions. Since opening his studio in 2006 Mr. Mucci has collaborated with stores in the Bay Area restoring jewelry. Privately in his studio he has created an exclusive line of bracelets in silver with a special electroplate treatment in palladium metal which doesn’t tarnish and is hypoallergenic. The bracelets in this line, in addition to having a unique look are comfortable and flexible and have a special elegance.
