Aurelio Mucci – Artisan Goldsmith and Gemstone Setter Aurelio Mucci began his artistic training at the Istituto Statale d’Arte in L’Aquila, attending metalworking courses in the goldsmithing department from 1980 to 1983.

He then continued his studies at the Istituto d’Arte in Valenza Po, specializing in gemstone setting in the jewelry department, earning the Diploma of Master of Arts in 1986. After his training, Mr. Mucci worked in the jewelry industry in various Italian cities, learning the artistic and artisanal techniques for creating artistic jewelry in the field of high fashion accessories. From 1996 to 2005, Mr. Mucci resided in Florence, Italy.

There, he worked as a freelance diamond-setter. He specialized in pavé and micropavé techniques and collaborated with companies, creating high-fashion jewelry that was exported worldwide.
In 2006, he moved to San Francisco, California, and opened a workshop creating commissioned pieces.

Since then, Mr. Mucci has collaborated with several Bay Area shops, restoring jewelry and creating custom jewelry.
